Change of Numbers in CDRs

When generating a CDR, the MSC fills the fields in CDRs, such as callingNumber, calledNumber, connectedNumber, roamingNumber, or servedMSISDN, with the original numbers collected during an MOC or trunk incoming call. If a number should be filled in to a CDR in a special format, you can configure the Bill Number Processing table to implement the number change.
For example, through the data configuration on the Bill Number Processing table, the system can normalize all the calling numbers to the international number format or national number format and then fill the normalized numbers to the corresponding CDRs.

Figure 1 shows the flowchart of change of numbers in CDRs.

NOTE:

The Bill Number Processing table is mandatory. It is queried when the MSC fills the charging information to the billing center after call release.
The change of numbers in CDRs has no impact on the numbers involved in the number analysis procedure.
